BACKTRACKING CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
By Glen Don.
The Failing CEO.
Last week, President William confessed that truly promises are difficult to fulfill. His Excellency, Dr. William Ruto avowed this when he was on a visit to Mombasa.
The reality of the promises is opaque and cannot easily be translated, especially, this time when the Kenyan economy is at its knees.
Jimmy Wanjigi in an interview with Spice FM, said that the President is the Chief Executive Officer of the nation and must therefore take charge of every responsibility.
Today the angle is twisted and no longer is he the tutelary deity that gods expected to reign and rule people using the biblical mosaic rod. Instead, the president cannot be detached from the previous character of being the baritone who matches with the Andean charango. He seems to be still in campaign moods and cherishes the public gathering where he stops and waves still with a banquet of promises. He has even upgraded and has been branded flying president, where he traverses the globe.
When the president, who is the CEO has dehisced publicly that promises are difficult to fulfill, the pleb now needs to use the inner sight in every step they make. They were wowed by promises that they envisaged would come to fulfillment only to be told the bitter truth.
One of the world leaders once said that when a politician addresses the crowd, he or she doesn't see them as human beings but rather the animals and might be compelled to speak anything. During campaigns, before politicians become leaders they give us what we want to hear and we forget that choices have consequences.
If the President has confessed publicly about the promises he made to Hustlers, then the hustler must learn to be resilient during this era of the hustler regime. The plebiscites, need now to know that no longer are they stepping into paradise but will continue to stay in their sty.
The heaven that was promised by the 'tutelary deity' is vanished as was foreseen by Apostle John in the apocalypse as scribed in the holy books, it is vanishing without even a single hustler having a one-day stay.
It is time 'wanjiku' get to know that leadership is not offered on how theatrical a trailer is, how much is he or she saying to be delivered.
This simply calls for tightening the belts rather than loosening them, because the ground is rocky and pebbled.
