Beyond doubt is that even with the wake of ethnical promotion, various media houses who have branches at grassroot level gives airtime to local media contents, Ramogi FM for the Luos have Nyar Kochia as the best program, there is Lolwe FM having the Chief. Other local television channels are not left behind. Even at the national level, KBC, the national broadcaster usually have Africa Cinema at 10.pm Saturdays, contents full of Kenyan or Eastern African contents. In a nutshell, no media is embracing foreign but instead they opt for diversity. The Government could have come with better strategy of regulating contents from both quotas than taxation. What would be wrong by saying that policy of 60/40 or 70/30 where the foreign contents take 30 or 40 while the domestic contents take 70 or 60 as the larger percentage in media houses.
