THE WRONG DECISION FOR HAITI MISSION.

 THE WRONG MISSION TO HAITI

The Haiti mission is Sacrifice and this is my take.
Kenya is a republic constitutionally.
However, this is not the case since there are some of the elements of colonialism.
In the book Fathers of The Nations, Kenya is described as the 'feared' country because of America, her long-time immemorial friend.
Our leaders, to be precise the top executives are just brokering deals to gain favor.

I am a human rights activist, and we are human rights activists.
In as much as the legal threshold is used to render the bad decision by the Government valid, we shouldn't forget that humanity transcends all these legal thresholds, even though they exist for human beings.

There is nowhere stated that Kenyan police are to be sent to another country to enforce peace. Even the law doesn't recognize that only if it exists in documents I haven't read.

Let us reason analogically:
You and I are friends, when our friendship intensified I just maintained it, but because I am not good and cannot depend alone, I therefore need to depend on others. The only way I can do this is by creating confusion and conflict, but just because my direct involvement will taint my image I come to you and force you to sign a deal to send your children to that person I have wronged.
America has a hand in the Haiti gang operation, the only way they can avoid the explicit failure as it was in Afghanistan (Taliban).
Kenya is just used as a vessel only that Kenya herself has no guts to refuse because of the delusion of funds to be pumped into the pockets and in the country.

My stand as an activist is that; IT IS NOT RIGHT. IT IS WRONG AND INHUMANE.
The country (Haiti) is controlled 80℅ by gangs, the remaining percentage is for the Government.  Taking our police officers there just means taking them for death but not operations.
Why should we not ask ourselves why America is not taking even soldiers there yet they pretend to be pro-peace advocates, why not Caribbean countries bothered by the instability. America rushes sending weaponry to Israel for war, giving missiles to Ukraine but not Haiti, yet they give Kenya the chance. Gangs in Haiti are just 'impersonated Americans"
Secondly,  why not soldiers but Kenya police?
Defense Forces usually show the strength of a nation, if Kenya was sure or the US was sure of Kenya winning the battle, then Soldiers could have been taken there but not police.

Defeat to KDF would expose Kenya's military weakness,  a risk any country cannot dare to undertake. This simply tells you how Kenya Police are sent to a hostile environment where coming back home alive is by fate. No guarantee of coming back alive. How could it be better if Kenya abstain and be neutral, we have not forgotten that Khartoum refusing to have Kenya in the peacemaking process there. Kenya should not be marked as a military Samaritan while there are other internal issues worth to be done by the Police like quelling the aggressive bandits who keep wreaking havoc in the North Rift region.

In any way, I cannot support the Police mission to Haiti. I cannot stand to see the 'butchery' of human beings or our patriots coming back as dead heroes of a foreign non-aligned country.

Some police officers may take this opportunity to travel abroad and venture, but what awaits is mammoth.
The adage "East or West should be ringing in someone's mind rather than feeling prestige but may end up getting nothing good in return.

SINGAPORE AND KENYA: DAY AND NIGHT

Kenya got its independence 1963 from the British colony, while Singapore got it two years in the month of August 9, 1965 from Malaysia after they had intense political differences which resulted to racial riots. Standing on the mirror line reflecting on the two countries between Kenya and Singapore, Kenya is extremely behind Singapore in terms of development.  Singapore hastily rose from third world country to first world country while Kenya still maintained the third world class.  Recently, Kenya's President Dr. William Ruto, is full of comparison statements: between Kenya and Singapore. Surprisingly, the phrase of boosting Kenya's world class has taken a beautiful twist where every politician is dreaming of Kenya to be futuristically the same level as Singapore. Pausing a bit, what's a dream? pondering on this; a dream literally means imaginary events while sleeping.  Our politicians are forgetting the dogmatic saying that goes 'action speaks louder than...

THE CHANGE EXPECTED IN REVERSE: GEN Z'S FADING STRENGTH

Photo Courtesy   Waking up to find the sun rising from the West and not East at dawn is enough to signal a whirl of change in the cosmological history. As a product of imagination it can be, who knew Gen Z would emerge as with a wave of change in a sundry of generations unexpectedly.  With this wave, the political sphere in every country worldwide is experiencing an overhaul.  Recently, protests have marred different countries with calls for change.  Bangladesh, Nepal, Morocco, Madagascar, Kenya are some of the countries that have at least tasted the pinch of the GenZ protests, while some of the protests have resulted in a change in the political sphere of the affected countries others have left less impact with mission and vision unreached due to fanciful impulse.  Generation Z, globally have not only expressed their anger through anger through protests and demonstrations, but also in politics where some of the African countries like Seychelles and...

NOT-NOW: HAVE SOME HUMANITY

photo courtesy (unknown) A person cannot retract a message that has reached a mass audience invariant of where it was said. One of the characteristics of communication is that you cannot uncommunicate.  A silent person remains wise until he utters a word. His Excellency Mutahi Kahiga might exemplify this phrase considering his tracenda during his speech at a funeral in Kiambu county, where he was addressing them in the local dialect.  Mr. Kahiga, seems to be deficient in emotions especially concerning the latest tragedy that befell the country when he cast aspersions on Raila Odinga's demise.  Raila Odinga, without doubt was akin to mumbo-jumbo within the luo community yet to his capacity during his lifetime did he not only benefit the Luo but became a national figure and perhaps a trademark in Kenya's politics.  In the history of human life, man is mortal and from soil we come, to soil shall we return. Regardless of the circumstances, man is...
